Why neuro-symbolic
Pure language models guess. Pure rules are brittle. We do both.
Across ports, utilities and industrial estates, operational data sits in dozens of disconnected systems, supplier portals, meter logs, ERPs, marine schedules, field spreadsheets. Pure-LLM tools read these as text and fabricate answers no auditor can trust. Pure rules engines can't absorb the variety.
Port-Systems is built on the neuro-symbolic principle: a neural layer parses the question, a symbolic layer, your domain ontology, knowledge graph and rules, derives the answer. The result is explainable by construction, auditable end to end, and grounded in records you already trust.
